On June 5, 1999 the Corvette Club of Michigan along with Les Stanford Chevrolet sponsored the CORVETTE ENCOUNTER at the historic Greenfield Village.

It was a great day (although quite warm). Over 200 Corvettes of all years including a "Special Collection" which included a Corvette from each year from 1953 to 1999!

After the Concours judging, there was a parade of over 140 Corvettes escorted by the Wayne County Sheriff'S Department and local Police Departments through the streets for 25 miles to a park where Les Stanford Chevrolet sponsored a picnic and bar-b-que! Everyone had a GREAT time.
